Chess board No. 5 (without description) with black walnut/ maple frame (marquetry) – Exclusive

Exclusive 48 x 48 cm tournament chessboard, finished with walnut and sycamore marquetry, double lacquered. The 50 x 50 mm fields are ideal for our Stauntons No. 5 and imported chess figures in 3.5 inch sizes.

The ideal combination with this chessboard is the German (Timeless) figures in the 3.5″ size. We then get a set almost identical (size smaller) to the electronic sets known from major chess tournaments.

The board has a black frame separating the field area from the edges of the board. On the underside of the chess board there are 4 felt pads to ensure stability on a table, desk or other hard and even surface.

Most chess tournaments are played on chess boards with fields ranging from 50 to 58 mm. Both cardboard and plastic chessboards are used, as well as classic wooden and electronic boards from DGT.
